I am a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in ADHD and mood symptoms in adults related to Anxiety, Depression and PTSD. I received my MSN in Nursing from Yale University in 2015. My background in Medical Anthropology from SUNY Albany shaped my holistic and collaborative approach to helping patients improve their health and wellness through a combination of ancient wisdom and contemporary medicine. I serve as a compassionate Psychiatric provider for the Moab community and also provide telehealth across Utah and Colorado.

My Story: Stop the Stigma of Mental Health and Neurodivergence
I am a Nurse Practitioner trained at Yale University to innovate health care. I have always been an empathic provider that my patients reached out to about their mental health concerns, so I transitioned out of general practice. I have created my own affordable and accessible private practice to provide holistic mental health treatment in person and by telehealth in Utah and Colorado. Over the past few years I’ve worked as a telehealth mental health provider in three states and locally in community mental health.
I’m most knowledgeable about Psychiatry from my own journey. I struggled through my personal life and academia until my late 40s as my ADHD was misdiagnosed for 20 years. The onset of Long Covid and Menopause worsened my ADHD symptoms so I was debilitated and unable to function at home and at work. With the encouragement of my supportive therapist, I underwent a comprehensive psych eval then sought treatment for my ADHD. Being a Gen-X woman, I was treated with gaslighting and stigma by my primary care provider. I found a supportive provider who helped me and my life is forever changed for the better. I’m here to pay it forward and advocate for all the undiagnosed/untreated ADHDers out there as well as the folks who were put on harmful psych medications that don’t serve them.
As an Anthropologist, I seek to find out where my patients are coming from and we create the treatment plan together. We can dive deep into finding a more holistic balance of medication that works for your body along with healthy living and working with your therapist. I have helped many patients who have not felt their voice heard as they seek to get off the wrong meds and find the least amount of meds to feel like themselves again.
